Deep Purple : Hungary Days, Live in Budapest January 1987, Original triple live vinyl album.
This unofficial live album was released I seem to recall in 1987.
These were pressed in very limited numbers and are now becoming increasingly hard to find.
When originally bought (new I recall) was played at most once or twice, then filed away in its polythene sleeve on a shelf…only to now surface.
Visual inspection reveals disc in apparent very good condition, glossy lustre. with no obvious significant flaws, minor hairlines only as follows:
Side B across end track 1 to beginning of track 3, but almost appears in the pressing itself, rather than surface indentation.
Side D across end track 1 to beginning of track 3, but almost appears in the pressing itself, rather than surface indentation.
Side F across end track 2 to beginning of track 3, but almost appears in the pressing itself, rather than surface indentation.
With the position of these on reverse side of each disc I wonder if these are possible original pressing or handling/packing marks?

The card sleeve is in very good condition very minor barely noticeable pinching and crease to top edge. Beginnings of slight disc indentation when held at angle to light, but no print loss or wear.
No splits or tears, sharp corners, essentially as new.

Selling on behalf of my Dad (who supplied all the info) from his personal collection, from the olden days when he collected vinyl.
I aim to use recycled packaging when possible, but rest assure that your vinyl will be well packed and protected against the trials of postal travel!

A few words about the vinyl grading.
I try to be as honest as possible, but all grades are based upon an experienced but ultimately subjective visual inspection, trying to identify and highlight obvious issues.
Back in the day whilst my Dad purchased much of the vinyl new, as he expanded his collection , (eventually running into a few thousand discs) hence many only played once, inevitably he was drawn to second hand (pre-loved) copies of certain discs, including the rarer original 1970’s issue boots.
As you will appreciate, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this or looking at the listing, the nature of many of these live/unofficial recordings meant that original production standards were not necessarily a top priority, with occasional mastering/pressing faults occurring.
Similarly with any second hand vinyl which in some cases is almost 50 years old they will potentially exhibit aural signs of having been played, sometimes a fair bit..these are not mint, new unplayed discs (unless stated).
The attraction for my Dad was either obtaining the different variations of an issue or otherwise unavailable rare recordings…its called collecting!
When playing vinyl my Dad had a Technics SL1800 turntable with Ortfon cartridge, so no thrashing and grinding on an old fidelity UA4! (early 70’s starter bedroom lo-fi, crank it up ?).
