Deep Purple: Highway Stars. Double Vinyl album. Memorial Drive, Adelaide Australia, Friday 30th Nov 1984.
Cat No Mint M21984.
This unofficial live album was released I seem to recall in early 1985, hot off the press in time for the European Tour.
These were pressed in very limited numbers and are now becoming increasingly hard to find.
When originally bought new it was played at most 3 or 4 times, then filed away in their polythene sleeves on a shelf…only to now surface.
Visual inspection reveals discs are generally in very good condition with very light surface marks only.
Side 2: very light surface mark across first 2 tracks will try to photograph, my Dad doesn’t recall any playing issues back in the day.
No indication of spindle wear.
Please see the photos. My memory from when these were last played decades ago is that the overall audible quality is a very good audience recording. I’m sure further searching of the internet will provide more details.
The original outer card sleeve is as new condition, with no obvious defects, corners sharp and no splits to seams.
Includes 2 sided paper insert (Pete Frame Family tree onone side, the other Ad for the Australia tour with band pic.
Selling on behalf of my Dad (who supplied all the info) from his personal collection, from the olden days when he collected vinyl.
I aim to use recycled packaging when possible, but rest assure that your vinyl will be well packed and protected against the trials of postal travel!
