Description
A UK 1st Pressing from May 1975 on the Purple label. Matrix A1/B1. Etching - 'RJL'. The record comes housed in the original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original EMI inner sleeve.
Cover (Ex+) Shiny front and rear with very little signs of use. Just the tiniest of creases and that's all that vaguely worth mentioning. No hidden tears or anything unsightly. The text on the spine is totally intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Looks shiny like new and has clearly seen only the lightest of use. Under close inspection we couldn't make out a single mark either side. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity and barely a hint of interference. A couple of the tracks on this LP have very low-key passages e.g. Child In Time and you really need the cleanest copy to do this music justice. Interference, here, is very very slight with just a touch of ultra low-level static in a couple of tracks - but that really is all. A superb playing copy and difficult to imagine finding anything better preserved. So buy with confidence - this copy will blow you away.
