Dee Donavan Rare OZ A-Label Promo 45 Bad News '68 Rare Wright/Young Composition
Rare OZ A-Label Promo 45 released in 1968 on Columbia Records. Cat: DO-8498.
This is a very rare country song written by Stevie Wright and George Young of the Easybeats. It was recorded by the band during the Olympic sessions for the fabled "scrapped album" but went unreleased - the band's version has never been issued. Alberts must have used it as a publisher's demo, as in 1968 it was picked up by Australia's king of "Country and Irish" for a single on Columbia.
Tracks : Bad news/ Blues stay away from me. Small sticker stain on label. Few pen marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and light scratches that cause some crackles and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
