Description

Here is a very rare copy of Dee Dee Warwick's Lover's Chant, b/w Worth Every Tear I Cry, released in 1966 on the Mercury label, number MF 909.  She was the younger sister of Dionne Warwick. the first cousin of Whitney Houston and she died in 2008. I bought this copy at the time of its release and must have played it about 10 times in total over 54 years!  "Lover's Chant" was written by the late, great, Lorraine Ellison (Stay with me baby) and was one of Warwick's few releases in the UK.  This copy is in very good condition, with a couple of tiny marks on the playing area, which do not affect the playback.  The last three photos show the marks, which make them look far worse than they do in reality! There are a few spindle marks on the label, but no other damage. The sleeve is in good condition and has no tears, writing or other damage.  There are very few copies of this single around and the current valuation is around £500, so grab yourself a bargain! Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description.  It is advertised elsewhere so may be withdrawn at any time. Thanks for looking.
