I have 3  grades for records   ( see  below  of  description  )

1.   Visual Grade  Side one  Near Mint :a couple of indications of having been slid  in  and out of   sleeve , there  is a small   pressing bump 3/4 inch from beginning  original to this  lp copy , Side two Near Mint  a couple of indications of having been slid  in  and out of   sleeve , spindle mark :  over all  no marks that could possibly  be audible

2.    Cover Is EX

3.   Play grading of  entire  record

Side  One Near Mint  Minus  there  is  a small  pressing  bump that does not interfere with play , but  is  just audible as a low whoosh about 6 times     Side Two Near Mint

International Buyers  !  Please  be aware that   international shipping  costs have  gone up  and It  will cost a  minimum  of  $20  to ship  overseas ,  It could  be  much more than  that depending On  the options you choose  .  Items Over  $400  of  declared value  must go out   priority  Mail and could  be  more than  double the  first class  rate .

How I grade records

1. Visual grade

Some times records look good and play bad sometimes they look bad but play great .

 Mint no evidence of play

Near Mint NM a spindle mark or two . a few faint marks of evidence of handling but nothing that looks like it would be audible .

Excellent EX more than a few spindle marks obvious evidence of handling but again nothing that should be audible .

2. The condition of the cover

Covers are graded as  follows

Mint no signs of wear , still in shrink wrap no bent corners , no  cut out damage .

Near Mint . a small amount of wear on the corners . perhaps some yellowing on really old covers , the beginning of ring wear .

Excellent. clean spine . some corner wear . Some light ring wear no splits or cracks .On some European covers the glue may have come undone on one or more of the seams but otherwise little to no wear .

3. My opinion of the level of sporadic noise, pops, tics etc … this kind of noise may be due to the original vinyl, bits of dust my VPI missed or other reasons. New un played records sometimes have this kind of noise, but I want to give as honest an assessment of the records as I can so I make note every   bit of noise I hear

Mint If a record plays with no sporadic noise whatsoever I give it a grade Mint

NM grade

A few soft pops here and there .  ( By a few I mean 1 to 10 )If you are  involved  with the music you might not even notice  them .

 Excellent

A noticeable amount  ( over 10 ) if your are paying attention to the noise and not the music but  otherwise  would pass unnoticed  .

I won’t be auctioning records that go below that grade .
