Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist - NM 1985 Canadian W/ Giger poster great shape

      This is a 1985 Canadian Fringe pressing of The Dead Kennedys 3rd lp proper, "Frankenchrist". Pretty much near-archive shape as cover, lp, printed inner and offending (and later removed) poster are all in sweet condition. More socio-political shaming from everyone's favourite California punk-pop group. The lp (poster) that almost sealed the fate of the Alternative Tentacles record label (if some benevolent fans had not come to the rescue).

Dead Wax Info: Side 1 has L-22265 and FPL-3018-A and A VIRUS 45 A1 and "The Full Rich Flavor of Stark Reality" all etched into the run-out. Side 2 has L-22265-X and FPL-3018-B and A VIRUS 45 B1 and "To cope is to cop out" all etched into the run-out. Stone original Canadian Fringe pressing. 

Vinyl Visual Grade:  NM with no marks worth mention. Probably played once, maybe not even in its' entirety. Absolutely gorgeous.

Vinyl Play Grade:  NM with excellent fidelity and about as good a copy of this pressing as you will find out there. Near impossible to better. 

Cover Visual Grade: NM at best no real issues to speak of. The two right front corners are barely starting to fray (almost unnoticeable).

Poster shows just some slight pressure marking where it came in contact with sleeved-vinyl during storage. Comes with original printed lyric inner which is in great shape (just a 3-inch fraying split down left front side). LP will be cased in Audiophile style rice inner. VERY RARE in this shape.

ALL records will have been visually inspected under BRIGHT incandescent light with extreme scrutiny.

ALL open records will have been play graded using a Thorens TD 165 turntable and Yamaha amplifier (JBL reference headphones). Treble set high so nothing will be hidden in my grades. My grading is as follows:

M or Mint - NOT USED as there is no such thing as perfection.

NM or Near Mint - No significant markings - sealed or RARELY played.

VG+ - Minimal marking - none of which significantly affects fidelity of lp.

VG - Minimal to modest marking which affects lp but not to the point of distraction.

G - Modest marking but still VERY listenable, depending on your ears.

I WILL NOT SELL ANY LP AT LESS THAN G UNLESS THERE IS SIGNIFICANT HISTORICAL VALUE ATTACHED TO THE LP.

ALL COVERS WILL HAVE DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS OF ALL FLAWS.

I USE PROPER RECORD MAILERS WITH STIFFENERS AND PADDED CORNERS. I HAVE BOUGHT TOO MANY RECORDS ON EBAY WITH DINGED CORNERS FROM INSUFFICIENT PACKAGING. BY PADDING THE CORNERS WITH FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP (WHICH I DO) , YOU CAN BE SURE OF RECEIVING AN LP WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE CORNERS.
