Record: MINT/UNPLAYED. The only eBay copy for sale appears to be from the USA. This would cost you $35 (£23) + postage via the Daytrotter Website. This is a great opportunity for someone to grab a copy of this record. A particularly good buy for those based in the UK or Europe, given the increased cost of postage from the USA.

Cover: In excellent condition. Three of the four corners on the record are slightly creased - please see the photographs. I think this was done during the packing, as the cellophane was too tight and caused tension on the sleeve.

History: Daytrotter is a website which hosts recording sessions from typically up-and-coming indie music acts. The sessions can be compared to that of a radio station's lounge recordings, where musicians passing through the town can record live in the studio. Due to their tendency to offer an eclectic sampling of music, and their production style the sessions have been compared to that of the legendary Peel Sessions. Not too shabby a recommendation! This is the fourth installation in the Daytrotter Vinyl Series features two somewhat diverse groups - Trampled By Turtles and Lucero. Both bands are stalwarts in their respective genres.

Trampled by Turtles: Trampled By Turtles is an American band from Duluth, Minnesota. The band members have referenced inspirations such as Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones and Nirvana and Ralph Stanley. Their most recent album, Stars and Satellites, was released in April 2012 and debuted at number 32 on the Billboard 200 Chart. This is the band's newest Daytrotter session, recorded at Echo Mountain in Asheville; one of Daytrotter's most listened to sessions of 2012.

Lucero: Lucero is an American country-punk rock band based in Memphis, Tennessee. Their sound has been described as a "synthesis of soul, rock, and country. The Lucero set is a barn-burner.
