Nach zahllosen CD- und LP-Wiederveröffentlichungen erscheint das Album jetzt in einer definitiven LP-Fassung. Die Doppel-LP enthält die gesamte Album-Session plus eine Live-Aufnahme, die während des zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts von Miles im September 1948 im Royal Roost in New York City aufgenommen wurde. Diese Edition ist die ultimative Vinylversion des erweiterten CD-Sets von 1998.
