Description
DAVID SYLVIAN -BLEMISH - 2003 - Ultra Rare Limited 1st and only pressing Vinyl LP.
Limited edition of 2000 copies in gatefold sleeve and printed inner sleeve, pressed on heavy audiophile quality vinyl, December 2003 in the UK. Track B6 does not appear on the CD version. Matrix: "SOUND-LP SS 001 A / 001 B". Also on the runout grooves: "THE PARADIGM 1/2 SPEED PROCESS - Miles"
CONDITION (Please zoom in on the photos to have a more complete idea of condition):
Record: EX (Wispy marks from sleeve removal, track 1 side B has one tiny non-feelable mark. Plays perfectly, sits flat on turntable. Superb sound) Gatefold Cover: EX- (very small creases, hardly noticeable + beginnings of a seam split at top of back section which holds the record. This can be seen in photo 2. Spine nice and square, perfectly legible) Inner sleeve: VG (some small "foxing"? spots on the top and left sections both sides, one of which has caused a 4mm spot of paper surface loss, visible in photo 4 centre left) Labels: Mint-

Records are graded under a bright halogen lamp. As most serious record collectors know, this shows every detail, better even than natural sunlight, so rest assured that records will not be over-graded. Where any doubt exists, records are play tested with a high quality turntable/cartridge. All items are from an extensive private collection (in a non-smoking home). I have been collecting records for over 40 years and go by the "Record Collector" grading system. As I need to "thin out" my collection, I will be listing a lot of very rare and collectible records in the coming weeks / months so check back regularly. All have been extremely well looked after and played infrequently on a high quality turntable. Covers have been protected in 400g polythene sleeves (and will be shipped in one). I will always attempt to mention any defects. However please look at the photographs carefully to have a clearer idea of what you are bidding on.
Returns will only be accepted in the unlikely event that the item is not as described. Records will be carefully packaged in high quality "cruciform" custom mailers and marked "Fragile - Please Do Not Bend". I sometimes re-use quality packaging materials to reduce costs and help the environment.
Buy more than one item and save with combined postage. However, in this case, please wait for a combined invoice before making payment. Two or three records can usually post for the same cost as one. Please note: I will not profit on postage costs and do not add charges for packaging. Due to it's rarity and value this one will have to go by Royal Mail Special Delivery at £7.65
