David Bowie featuring Iggy Pop & Marc Bolan "Alarm" 1LP Rare (Gravedigger Records 1983)
I obtained this album new in 1983. I may have played it once or twice before I recorded it on to a TDK SA tape. I placed it in a high quality click-seal sleeve and stored it upright.
This is one of the first editions of this release as it includes the sticker on the upper top left of the sleeve and it is the rarer red sleeve which does not often come up for sale.
Condition of the vinyl: Excellent+/Mint- (Visual Inspection). The vinyl is glossy, clean and shiny. It looks immaculate actually. The mock coloured labels are immaculate and clean. There are no spindle marks. It is essentially in the same condition as when I obtained it new over 30 years ago. Some manufacturers and distributors of this class of album did not take that much care of the albums so it was not unusual for these types of albums to be in less than pristine condition when your received them. Quality control was not always a major priority.
Condition of the sleeve: Excellent+. The "deluxe" cardboard sleeve is in excellent condition. There are no tears, seam splits, bends or major flaws. There are only some minor signs of age that can be seen when the sleeve is held up to the light. There is a minor corner crease lower left. The plain white paper inner sleeve is crisp and clean.
