Description

You are bidding on the super-rare unreleased French 7" of Station To Station b/w TVC 15 - a cancelled RCA release from 1976. This legendary rarity was scrapped after a handful were made, and is now one of the rarest David Bowie items out there. It's right at the top of every serious collector's wishlist, alongside the Low sampler 7" and the UK Be My Wife pic sleeve. The version of Station To Station on this 7" is a bizarre 3'40" edit/remix that is unavailable in any other format. Strangely, it really works... it would have been a great single if only RCA had gone ahead with it. But they didn't - which means this copy is a very rare chance to snap one of these records up. The vinyl is a very easy EX+, probably nearer NM, and plays beautifully. The labels are clean with no marks on them at all. The company sleeve has writing on it - see scan - as well as light paper scuffs. No great hardship. There is no reserve on this item, which up to now has been one of the crown jewels of my collection. Don't let this one pass! I've been collecting Bowie vinyl for decades - but changing work circumstances means it's time to clear out the cupboards and move along. Some of these things will be hard to part with - so I hope they go to a good home! Payment via Paypal is great. Winning bidder to add $5 postage and packing to the US, $6 to Japan and Australasia, $4 to Europe and $2 to the UK. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions!
