David Bowie
Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
1972 original 1st UK pressing SF 8287 IMPOSSIBLE to locate and becoming very scarce nowadays . Complete with the EARLIEST 1st press matrices, 1st issue glossy victor labels and 1st issue picture inner sleeve! THICKER 1st pressed vinyl , robust quality pressing !!! The Robert Stace ,1st issue, unlaminated , album sleeve is in incredible condition . Try finding another like this !
Orange glossy RCA Victor label format . Later labels had dulled labels. No Main man reference on these FIRST ISSUE labels, confirming this record was issued before any contracts were signed. Titanic Music credits toward lower rim of labels.Hardly a spindle trace and in ex+/near mint- condition.
Thick vinyl press compared to the later reissues which were more flexible and flimsy. Excellent deep gloss to surfaces . Only the odd ultra light surface/one faint scuff/one linear scratch hardly visible.

Inner picture/lyrics sleeve with a Gem Production credit. EXCELLENT+ with NO seam splits!!!. Fantastic.
Audio At least very good but mostly EXCELLENT ! Audio dips a couple of times and opening grooves of first track side 1, have some static !But overall, a very pleasing delivery compared to later reissues. In actual fact, an absolute delight . Must be heard . Awesome tones . So much better than subsequent releases as this audio has that EXTRA LOUD cut engineering . Tones are exceptionally clear and are delivered with a razor sharp edge and a concise definition. Only blip on sound is during intro of Starman S1,Tr4, where there are a couple of ticks but not very noticeable, unless one is listening for them ,and between tracks 3-4 ,where there is no music playing at all. So a brilliant delivery and just must be heard !
Sleeve
Unlaminated with no Mainman text on reverse. Minimal ring wear with Robert Stace credits. Ex condition with no rips nor tears. No edge wear to mention! Spine is excellent and is a superb example of this first issue single, matt sleeve. No sticker damage. Beautifully maintained ! No fading on the coloration !Impossible to locate in this remarkable condition.
A superb/EXCELLENT example of a very hard to locate Bowie release . After hearing this record, you will shout Wham, Bam ,Thank you M’am and truly mean it !!
