Description
This is David Bowie's incredible LP "The Man Who Sold The World" on Mercury Records SR 61325 from 1970.
OK, this was a sealed copy until a few minutes ago. I wanted to be sure that this is a legitimate copy and not one of those counterfeits that are around. There was no other way than to just open it up and find out. I used a sharp X-Acto knife and carefully slit the shrink wrap.
I took the vinyl out of the inner sleeve and took photos of the labels. I also attempted to get shots of the matrix numbers. So, this is an unplayed copy and yes, the matrix numbers are stamped, rather than hand written as are the counterfeits. I attempted to show the matrix numbers in my photos.
I did NOT put the record on my turntable. I want the next owner to have that pleasure! So, it is an unplayed copy.
The cover is still tightly wrapped in its original shrink wrap. The shrink wrap is totally intact and so the cover is Mint! The four corners are sharp. See my photos as they show Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Left and Lower Right. There is a small cut out hole in the lower Right corner.
The price is for a never-before played copy of a great David Bowie LP from 54 years ago!
Shipping/Handling will be $14.99 Media Mail within the U.S.
