Description
Being a huge Bowie fan I have owned this LP from it's day of release (bought in Scarborough, UK. 1979) and being an audiophile I have looked after it carefully, it being kept in a protective sleeve and in a smoke free house.
This Import LP was released by the BPI in order to track down the "undesirables" (Operation Moonbeam - Sting Operation). The result was succesful! Because of the trapping of the "undesirables" this LP barely ever made it into collectors hands at all. STAY is not listed on the wrap sleeve but is on the record.
'Hallowien Jack Records' 'Sterio' printed on cover. This is not the later repressed LP that was miss-spelt 'Wembley Wizard' and had printed labels and MATRIX WW1A/B.
The Matrix / Runouts are, Side A (Scratched in): C C 1 A THE ACTOR 79 EG, Side B (Scratched in): C C 1 B EG.
The fold out paper cover with photos etc is in excellent condition as is the inner white card.
Please inspect the photos.
The LP will be supplied outside the cover in a new anti-static inner sleeve (the original being also included). LP and cover will then be in a poly sleeve and very well packaged.
I would honestly grade this as EXCELLENT+, many professional dealers would state it as Mint-. I would NEVER sell an LP over graded. I have cleaned it on my RCM and played it fully, so most importantly THIS LP PLAYS PERFECTLY, NO JUMPS, SKIPS OR 'POPS & CRACKLES'.
The cost I feel is extremely fair and is well below others I've seen listed.
