Description
David Bowie - The Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Stardust (UK Vinyl LP -1st Press 1E/2E)
U.K. 1st pressing with printed lyric inner sleeve and 1E/2E matrices. The glossy labels have the Titanic Music publishing credit and there is no Mainman logo on the back of the sleeve
The Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. Glossy vinyl with great audio. There are some light surface marks but the vinyl plays as excellent. There is one tiny scratch at the start of Side 1 track 1 which only produces a few light clicks and there is another very small scratch at the end of Side 2 track 1 running into the beginning of track 2 which again only produces a few light clicks.
The sleeve is in Good+ condition. Mostly Very Good. Graded as Good+ as there are scuffs on the spine and edges and there is a very small split on the centre of the top edge. There is some creasing on the corners but no other tears or splits. The spine text is rubbed and is not completely legible.
The printed lyric inner sleeve is in Very Good condition. There are no seam splits although there is a small tear on the top right of one side where the tip of corner is missing although this does not affect any of the text.
Both labels are clean and unmarked with no writing.
Released in 1972 on RCA Victor Records Cat: SF 8287 (LSP 4702) Matrix numbers: BGBS 0864-1E / BGBS 0865-2E.

ALL THE ALBUMS I SELL ARE VERY SECURELY PACKAGED WITH AT LEAST TWO STIFFENERS AND NEW PLASTIC SLEEVES. I ALWAYS PLACE THE RECORD OUTSIDE THE OUTER SLEEVE TO ENSURE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE IN TRANSIT. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
