Description

Here is a beautiful copy of David Bowie's LP "The Man Who Sold the World" on Mercury SR 61325 Stereo from 1970. This copy is really in perfect, Mint condition.
The cover is mostly in its original shrink wrap. Only a 2" by 4 1/2" piece is missing in the upper right of the cover. The entire back cover is still totally covered with shrink wrap.
The cover does have a cutout hole in the lower right corner.

This is an original issue of this LP and not one of the many counterfeits. I have shown the stamped matrix numbers in the attached images. Counterfeits had handwritten matrix numbers.

I test played much of this LP on my Denon DP-62L turntable with Shure cartridge. First, the spindle hole was tight on the spindle and the LP had to be pushed down onto the platter. As I test played the LP, I began to realize that either this vinyl had never been played before or perhaps it was played once and taped and the actual LP was put away since 1970. The vinyl is in totally Mint condition. It looks totally Mint and it plays in totally Mint condition. I was amazed that this LP, issued 53 years ago, could be as new as this copy appears! There was silence in the lead-in grooves and the sound was incredible!
The cover, being in shrink wrap all these years, is also in Mint condition.

A beautiful copy of this fantastic Bowie LP!
Shipping/ Handling will be $5.49 Media Mail and insurance within the U.S.
