Description
David Bowie - 'The Man Who Sold The World' 1970 US Mercury First Stamped Matrix.
Cover
Very Good (VG) - The cover is in nice condition for age. There is a hint of ring-ware, front and back, a small tear to rear paste-over at bottom left and a few tone spots on back. The spine is strong and legible. Importantly the space between the final line of lyrics to 'The Supermen' and the 'OH BY JINGO' bubble is about the hight of a single line of text: it is much wider on counterfeits.
Record
Very Good Plus (VG+) - There are some light marks but these do not affect playback: the record plays well, with just a little surface noise between tracks and in the quietest passages. The matrices in the runout (the space between the label and the grooves) are machine stamped (the counterfeits are hand etched).
Postage
The record will be posted 1st class Royal Mail signed for, but if it sells for more than the compensation limit applicable to this service I will pay for an upgrade to Royal Mail special delivery. It will be packed in a new record mailer, with stiffeners.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I ONLY POST TO UK ADDRESSES.
