David Bowie The Laughing Gnome Original 1967 Release - Inverted Matrix Numbers Ex/Ex
This is the real deal folks!
As many of you will know, there are loads of copies of the 1973 re-release around but this is the original release from 1967 with the inverted matrix number on the label on both sides.
The 1967 year date is situated on the left hand side of both the A and B side labels which again differentiates this rare original release from the re-release.
The centre is fully intact and overall, the item is in amazing condition. Using the Record Collector grading system, there is no question that it is at least Excellent. I doubt whether I have played it more than half a dozen times since I first bought it.
The sound quality on both the A side (The Laughing Gnome) and the B side (The Gospel According to Tony Day) is outstanding. There are no discernable crackles or hisses and the record plays beautifully.
As you will see from my pictures, the condition of the vinyl and labels is superb. There are virtually no marks or scratches to be seen anywhere.
The record comes with its original orange Deram sleeve which although slightly worn around the edges, is fully intact with no rips or tears.
Copies of this 1967 original release in such excellent condition are hard to come by so don't miss out!
