David Bowie Subway 1LP Picture Disc FW8211 (1982 Pressing)
I obtained this album brand new in 1982. I did not play this copy as I already possessed another copy of the performance. I placed it in a plastic click seal sleeve and stored it upright.
The performance on this album is from 1974. The same photograph on each side.
Condition of the vinyl: Excellent. The vinyl is shiny and glossy. The vinyl looks immaculate. There are a number of manufacturing flaws within the picture disc. The album may have a slight bow in it based on a visual inspection. I do not have a turntable to verify that at the moment. Due to its age, and like other picture discs of this era, there is a slight discolouration in the clear areas of the disc, particularly the rim. This is a fault with the original manufacture.
I am reluctant to say the album is "mint" due to the nature of its manufacture. Some manufacturers and distributors of this class of album did not take that much care of the albums so it was not unusual for these types of albums to be in less than pristine condition when your received them. Quality control was not always a major priority.
This album would look quite good framed.
