Hello everyone,
Today I have for your listening pleasure ‘David Bowie – Stage’.
For me it was an unfairly criticised release. It was one of the first Bowie LP’s I owned and gave me my first taste of classics such as “Heroes” and ‘Station to Station”. Yes, Visconti managed to produce and mix away the live feel but Bowie’s vocals are superb throughout. Would you really rather have ‘David Live’? I love the ‘tortured’ Bowie output but come on, he was close to death on that one!
It is the RCA Original English pressing (there are plenty of European pressings out there) in yellow vinyl.
The cover is in very good if not close to excellent condition. There are no nasty marks or creases although there is some minor edge wear. The laminate is in very good condition and has lifted ever so slightly on the spleen to the inner gatefold (you will struggle to notice this). The ‘special limited edition – yellow vinyl’ sticker is still fully attached and shows no sign of any attempt to unpeel. The inners are showing a little age related wear and tear. I do not own a turntable these days so I cannot guarantee the playing condition of the vinyl. To my eye it does look very clean with no obvious or significant scratches.
If you are a David Bowie fan I hope to have a complete 1978 ‘Stage – Isolar II’ DVD Anthology due in a month or so.

All my records are suitably packed in bespoke 12” mailers. My grading is very strict and not left to chance.
