Description
Up for auction here is a rare David Bowie promo-only 7" of the single "Space Oddity". The A-side has the title track, the B-side is "Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud". This is the extremely rare STEREO version of the single. It comes in the original Philips paper sleeve.
The record itself is in very good condition, with no visible scratches on the vinyl. There is a very slight scuff on the B-side label in the centre but it's minor. The A-side label has an ink stamped date "11 Jul 1969". To my knowledge, this has never been played, and still has the centre piece intact.
The sleeve shows signs of its age, but if I am not mistaken it is a generic Philips sleeve and could be replaced if desired.
This item came to me through a relative who worked for London Weekend Television, and received it (along with various other releases) through his work direct from the record company. It has been stored for many years and as previously stated, to my knowledge it has never been played.
Due to the rarity of this item, I will only ship this with insurance, so please be aware that shipping overseas will be approx 12-15 GBP, but I am happy to ship this anywhere in the world.
