David Bowie: Space Oddity
1st pressing of Space Oddity, in clean and tidy condition (See below).
Issued on black Philips labels with silver print in an illustrated gatefold cover with lyrics inside.
Condition
Sleeve: VG - Some light edge wear, including at the top of the spine (see image). nothing too serious. No splits or tears, no damage to the front and back. Colours are still nice and vivid.
Record: VG - Some light surface marks but these are not substantial and do not really effect playback excepting some light surface noise between tracks and during quieter passages. Would grade as VG+ if not for a lightly feelable mark at the end of Side 2 (see image) which causes a swish on the outro. No sticks or skips. Overall a really nice copy of a very rare LP.

Inner gatefold notes: “Front cover by Vernon Dewhurst based on ‘CTA 25 Neg’ by Victor Vasarely....’The Depth of the Circle’ Back cover by George Underwood.
Track A2.2 is not listed on either sleeve or centre label. This 'hidden track' was edited out of the 1969 US Mercury edition of "Man Of Words / Man Of Music" and subsequent RCA reissues of "Space Oddity".
This has the wide Philips logo on the labels and is the first pressing. This version mistakenly lists all publishing to Essex Music Intl. Ltd.
