Description
For sale is an extremely rare white label of David Bowie sorrow with the b side Amsterdam.
This is the only one listed online and from my research is the first listed in over two years.
Matrix numbers
Side a - BOW 519 A-2U-1-1-10
Side B - BOW 519 B-2U-1-1-5
The vinyl does have light surface wear to both sides when inspected under strong light however the wear would grade this record as vg. I have cleaned the record and it looks clean and retains its glossy finish
Side 1 plays really well with no skips or jumps. There is some background noise that can be heard for the first 2 to 3 seconds and then plays cleanly with great sound
The end of the track when the music fades out a small amount of noise can also be heard
Side 2 the record plays well but does start for the first twenty seconds with some light background noise and a few crackles. After this the record plays brilliant with a very small amount of noise which can be heard. This is not heard from about 1 minute in. After this I do not hear any sounds in the background
I genuinely believe with a professional clean the sound could be enhanced even more
The labels have no writing but do have some faded yellow discolouration to the labels. This is faded and light and causes no real issues.
Overall this is a fantastic copy of an extremely rare test press of one of the great legends
