Description
For sale here is a copy of David Bowie - Resurrection On 84th Street TAKRL Label. This is a double album taken from the original USA radio broadcast of the 23rd March 1976 concert at the Nassau Coliseum, Uniondale, NY.
This is the 2nd issue with the black & white printed sleeve. There is a 10cm split on the top edge. Please see photo. Due to the nature of how a lot of USA record sleeves were made in the 70's, which was paper pasted around folded cardboard, the edges were susceptible to wear and there are one or two other minor dinks/edge wear and general ageing. Other than that the sleeve front and rear look OK and I would grade it as VG. The quality of the vinyl used with these types of unofficial records was not always up to that of official releases and this can be seen in the form of a light ripple effect on the runout plastic. However, they are a rarity coveted by fans & collectors. There are marks on each side and I would also grade the records as VG. Producers of unofficial records rarely used labels that reflected the contents of the record and this album is no exception, using labels that were to hand at the time! in this case, labels from Monique D'Ozo and a Sex Pistols unofficial record were used!
