Description

180gm coloured vinyl limited edition of David Bowie's Heathen, created for the V&A by Music on Vinyl.

Supposedly, this later pressing by Music on Vinyl has better acoustics than on the original 2002 CD.

A reluctant sale due to having my hours cut and needing to sell some items. Bought from the V&A and never opened (the shot of the vinyl is taken from the web).  The bag is still sealed.

Low number of 65 out of just 500 pressed.  This rarely comes on to the market as most of the 500 pressed are now with their permanent owners, unlikely to be sold in any rush.

Possibly my favourite Bowie album, certainly in my top 5. A real modern classic by David Bowie. Sunday, Everyone Says Hi, I Would Be Your Slave, Heathen, Afraid, Slip Away... An album chock full of brilliant tracks.

Also, I love the visuals of the album. The violated religious artwork, the torn books, the sepia tint suiting the sombre mood of the music, Bowie's fish eyes and perhaps Barnbrook's best ever design work. So, it's only fitting that this album received a special orange / brown marbled vinyl pressing.

There are 3 postage options: Cash on collection (South East London, near Bromley and Croydon), First Class, and Special Delivery. Although I'd package it as securely as I can with bubble wrap and plenty of stiff cardboard, I'd recommend choosing the Special Delivery by 1pm, as it includes insurance.
