David Bowie : Major Tom 1969 - 1980

This is an odd one that I purchased on eBay several years ago.                                                                   Please see excerpt from the original listing (last pic), from that and what is on the sleeve it states this is a promotion limited edition of 250 numbered copies, this being #150. It also states made in Gaza.                       I have seen this documented as both an official and unofficial promo, I expect Bowie collectors would lean toward the later as would I, so I quite expect if any doubt e-bay will pull it, even though purchased from their platform.    

I purchased this 'as new' and have never played it myself. The record does look unplayed but the sleeve has two creased corners (see pic) which was how it arrived.                                                                                      Low starting price due to unknown source.

I have been collecting Bowie for decades and finally stopped around 21/22.

Having now retired and following recent and frequent health issues the time has come where reluctantly my collection must finally go. although that was always the ‘retirement plan’ it is still very hard to do.

I have thousands of discs both CD & Vinyl which will be listed on here these are official / rare /radio shows / promo / RCA / Ryko etc. but I also have thousands of rare items such as TMOQ, Bureau Supply, WOW, Box Sets, Picture Discs and many many rare CDs Wardour, Helden, Godfather, box sets etc. which I have yet still to decide how best to shift them.

Needless to say, everything is from my private collection, I know how important condition is and the majority of these are sealed / new / unplayed, all relevant comments will be in the main listing.

Most of these will be free P&P with tracking. Records will be shipped in a mailer inc. stiffner, CDs will be shipped in bubble envelopes plus card where necessary.

Listings may not be very regular, but I will do what I can when I can.
