Description

An original 1st press of LOW on UK RCA - 1977. Matrix A2/B1. Stamped "Sterling". The vinyl comes housed in an original GarrodPrint Cover - with the track listing sticker on the rear. We also have the original RCA inner sleeve date coded to 12-76 [ a month prior to 1st release]. There's also the credit insert and fanclub leaflet. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In beautiful condition and has only seen light use. The surfaces look superb and the Lp has clearly only seen very light use. Under close inspection I can't make out more than a couple of very light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with minor deviation in the ambient tracks at the start of side 2. In my experience no matter how good a copy looks and how little play it's seen - no copies play tracks 1 and 2 [on side 2] really clean. This copy plays them much better than is typically. You will notice the odd static crackle here and there. They are cleaner than usual - but not truly clean [I hope that makes sense!].  So, I'm not really convinced anything exists beyond this sort of level. And anyone seriously claiming Ex+ throughout ...most certainly won't have played the record in its entirety. If you're looking for a top level copy - this will get you as far as it's humanly possible to go.
Cover (Ex) Very nice looker particularly on the front. Nigh on perfect front with just one miniscule crease - and not a hint of surface wear. Just very slightest handling on the rear, but still very impressive. The sticker is fully intact and not peeling away. Edge wear is very slight for this title and the openings still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A fantastic looking example.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits though.
Insert (Ex-) very little ageing. One crease in a corner.
Leaflet (Ex+) Pretty much perfect. No ageing. No writing in the interior.
