David Bowie LP Deram SML 1007 UK Stereo 1967 ULTRA RARE!
This is Bowie’s very first album and is commonly overlooked as it is experimental and demonstrates Bowie’s early attempts to find success as an artist. Fascinating but ultimately a failure and therefore only sold in small numbers.
They are even harder to find in this condition! Apart from a few very light wispy hairlines, this copy has no marks or scratches. Playback is also superb with very little, if any, background noise. Certainly hardly any clicks or pops!
The sleeve is made of thin card which is fragile if handeled roughly. This sleeve still retains that just pressed look with the only flaw being a small 1cm tear on the opening edge. It has been neatly repaired on the inside and looks more like a crease. Detailed pictures of this are included.
This is a brilliant copy of this hard to get album and is a must for Bowie fans interested in the development of the artist and as a highly desirable collectors piece.
