David Bowie Hunky Dory Laminated Sleeve Rare.
Hunky Dory first pressing with the rare Laminated sleeve .
SIDE 1 : APRS 5947 3T
A1 etched at 5 o'clock
Bobil etched at 10 o'clock.
SIDE2: APRS 5948 3T
AIR etched at 7 o'clock
Rasputin etched at 12 o'clock
The sleeve has a love shine , and is in great shape , with a few creases to spine and bottom left corner. The opening to the sleeve is still quite sharp with no blunting to the edge.
The labels are glossy and shiny with no damage.
The record itself is a lovely example with no visible marks in normal light , and only a very few very faint ones in a very bright light.
The record plays extremely well with occasional light static . There is a quiet pause between Eight Line Poem and Life on Mars ? Which is a good test for noise , and this copy passes with flying colours, without a sound .
The insert is graded as VG .
In all a very presentable copy , that has graced my collection for a number of years .
I will pack this securely , with the record kept separate from the sleeve to avoid any damage . postage is for the UK only .
