All right, David Bowie fans, get ready. I'm a huge collector of this legend, and I'm letting some precious artifacts go for the sake of funding an exploration in education where I can tell you all about it in the next bardo, as he once sang. Know that bidding here will support an education in consciousness that he would have totally approved of and will support the betterment of my impact on the universe. Now on to the good stuff...
What we have here is one of the more well-known vinyl bootlegs in the Bowie unofficial catalog. "Dollars In Drag - The 1980 Floor Show" is an audio recording of his 1973 Midnight Special performance, which shocked many a living room back in the day. It also features the Arnold Corns recordings inventively spliced into the mix.
This version sounds really great with no major surface noise and certainly no skips. The sleeve has seen some rough times, as any beloved vinyl record of this age would, so it has some small splits and wear but no tears or hard creases. The image is of the actual record.
The labels on the vinyl have only ever been blank, but the art on the labels has varied.
I'm starting the bidding low to be authentic to the interest in this items (and the many other Bowie rarities I will be listing in the weeks to come, right now I just plan to drop a couple more things to get the word out, but be assured I have some very rare promos and even autographed items coming soon).
