Description

An original 1st press of DDs on the UK RCA label from 1974. A/B "Oly" - 1st cut. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue cover - uncredited. We also have the original generic white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Please be aware there are a couple of light radial marks on side 1. One mark causes a needle jump during the opening sequence of DD [track 2]. It jumps over to the next groove - so you will lose one line of dialogue. But if you can overlook that one issue - the rest of the LP is really superb. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback - with one deviation [as mentioned above]. Shame about the jump - as this record plays really clean throughout. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Expect a few light crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side [e.g. intro to WATD]. But otherwise expect a top-level rendition.
Cover (Ex) Lovely clean front and rear surfaces without signs of ageing or wear. One tiny crease extreme top right on the front. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is very slight for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is in excellent order with text still fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits.
