The "EARLIEST" version of this "First "EVER" Bowie USA LP release - David Bowie - Deram DE 16003 (MONO) was released in August 1967. This edition omits 'We Are Hungry Men' and 'Maid Of Bond Street' and mis-spells 'Little Bombardier' ("Little Bombadier") and 'Silly Boy Blue' ("Silly Boy Blues"). This USA mono edition uses a slightly different mix of' Uncle Arthur' and 'Please Mr. Gravedigger'.
Has the original “London” inner sleeve.
Grading: The record sleeve looks - EXC, has some minor cover edge wear, still carries great hi-gloss luster on this 50 year old LP front cover.
The vinyl looks – Excellent (almost nm) - unbelievable but absolutely true! Shiny, glossy black.
Both Deram "MONO" Labels look – Excellent (almost nm) - Vivid Deram graphics and print, no bubbling of labels, no spindle drags, perfect spindle hole - Perfect!
The original "London" inner sleeve looks - NEAR MINT - vivid graphics and print on both sides of the inner sleeve!
Overall a gorgeous and highly desirable "50" year old Bowie collectible. Really a crown jewel piece in any Bowie collection!
