the original authentic 1972 Glastonbury Revelations LP and one now rarely seen

The Glastonbury Festival was not always what it is now. In 1971 the organisers lost so much money a few of the up and coming acts organised a benefit LP which was later issued in 1972 to repay the festival debts. This is that very LP - and one of those tracks donated to the project was an acoustic number from a young man calling himself David Bowie, the other bands and acts are listed below and a few of them , like Bowie, went on to become household names.

Only 500 examples of this 3LP pressing ever existed and 37 years on probably only a handfull remain.

By The Way, The LP Pictured Is The One Your Are Bidding On. The LP's are all well played and contain visible signs of use, various light scuffs and surface hairlines, all three LP's still play through fine though!!! 

The album poster sleeve unfolds into a massive poster with a picture of the original concert stage one side and a hippy chick and credits on the other (click link below for more official info)

The 32 page book is also present in immaculate condition (no rips, tears or missing pages)

the PVC sleeve and track insert aren't here, they got lost while smoking weed and ran off to a commune in the mid 70's and have never come back or even written to me.

CD's are shipped well wrapped in a padded bubble envelope. For the uninitiated please note some original RCA CD's are 20 years old and after two decades "normal signs of use" includes some surface scratches.

As of April 15th 2009 vinyl singles are all shipped in a professional record mailer inside a plain white record sleeve inside a PVC cover with PS stored separate for maximum protection.  LP's are shipped the same, with vinyl separated from LP cover inside the original LP paper liner inside a protective PVC cover where available.

Posted promptly (weekends, Spanish holidays (there are a few!) & PayPal allowing) by registered 1st class mail/airmail to your door.

If you are yet to bid on this original 3LP set.....do your homework....punch the name of this LP into Google then come back while the numbers are still only in double figures and "Christen" yourself a true rock fan by bidding on one the most important pieces of vinyl in rock history!

It just so happens Bowie was involved...but even if he wasn't this LP contains the early 1971 blueprint to everything else Glastonbury later became.

It will not appear again for ...... Years? Decades ? Ever? Who knows even the like of EIL and the original producers dont have a copy!!!!
