This is an original early version 1967 Deram DE 16003 "PROMO ONLY NOT FOR SALE" stamped on rear sleeve of this 'David Bowie' LP 1967.             Impossible to locate RARE PROMO - 49 Years Old - crazy rare to find. Crazy insane! A Bowie collectors' dream!!!                                    Next year this LP will be "50" years old - a half a century can you believe it?

01) The "EARLIEST" version of this  "First "EVER" Bowie USA LP release - David Bowie - Deram DE 16003 (MONO) has a blue instead of white rim,and was released in August 1967.  This edition omits 'We Are Hungry Men' and 'Maid Of Bond Street' and mis-spells 'Little Bombardier' ("Little Bombadier") and 'Silly Boy Blue' ("Silly Boy Blues"). This USA  mono edition  uses a slightly different mix of' Uncle Arthur' and 'Please Mr. Gravedigger'.
02) Original front and back of this LP's "London" inner sleeve Pic #3 and Pic #4, you will get the "London" sleeve but we always re-sleeve into a VRP sleeve as well to protect the vinyl.  So you will receive both sleeves.
03) Deram 1967 "MONO" labels - Pic #5 and Pic #6

The vinyl looks - NEAR MINT - unbelievable but absolutely true! Shiny, glossy black, not a hint of a scratch on this record - gorgeous factory fresh condition!
Both Deram "MONO" Labels look - NEAR MINT - Vivid Deram graphics and print, no bubbling of labels, no spindle drags, perfect spindle hole - Perfect! (Pic #5 and Pic #6)
The original "London" inner sleeve looks - NEAR MINT - vivid graphics and print on both sides of the inner sleeve! (Pic #3 and Pic #4) 
            Overall a gorgeous and highly desirable "50" year old Bowie collectible. Really a crown jewel piece in any Bowie collection!

I've collected David since 1973 and what a trip it has been with this incredible artist and his career.
It was such a shame and incredible loss with his passing. It just seems unreal he is gone.
