Rare 7" Vinyl Record from 1966

Can't Help Thinking About Me / And I Say To Myself

USA Black & White WARNER BROS. Promo Labels, Ref. 5815

  • This is David Bowie's first US single, in fact his first single anywhere as David Bowie!!!
  • Sleeve: plain white paper sleeve
  • Labels: Sadly damaged (see scans)
  • Vinyl: Numerous marks and scratches obviously impacting on the sound. I did not play the record, thus no warranty here, item sold "as is".
A rather very rare record and a nice one to have, definitively a good starter in view to a better upgrade to come !!!
This record comes from a major collection were it was properly stored and taken big care of.

All top-collector items (prices above US$ 100) are stored using the best available material, also used by national libraries for example:
  • The record is separated from its sleeve and placed in a polylined paper sleeve made from acid-free material;
  • The record and the sleeve are separated by an acid-free cardboard insert; and
  • Record and its sleeve are placed in a mylar, archival polyester of the highest quality, outer-sleeve.
