grading scale I am using (record / sleeve)

M - Mint (as I understand it, it is mighty rare to come across a true MINT record, so I am using this to help show the scope of the scale)
NM - Near Mint (to follow-up on the MINT grade...many of my records are unplayed, in protective sleeves so I would consider NM to be nearly brand new, although understanding it can't truly be "Mint")
E - Excellent (Certainly playable, slight wear on record or sleeve, small bend, etc)
VG - Very Good (playable with some crackle spots probably, noticeable wear on record or sleeve, noticeable defects, bends, defaced cover: written name or station: etc)
F - Fair (overall playable, noticeable crackle spots, wear and/or scratches on record, sleeve with clear defects, rips, defaced)
P - Poor (nearly destroyed cover and record, but probably kept for sentimental value or rare item just to have, not playable, if it is its going to snap, crackle and pop like no other)
