Dashiell Hedayat "obsolete" LP 1971 French release on Shandar Extremely Rare Absolutely awesome slice of drug crazed psychedelia and space rock. If Camembert Electrique-era Gong is your cup o' tea you must hear this record, as this is from the same time frame and Hedayat is backed up by the whole band- Daevid Allen's lead and gliss guitars, Christian Tritsch's bass, Gilli Smyth's intergalactic whispers, Didier Malherb's awesome saxes and flutes, and Pip Pyle's great drumming. In fact, this is as much Gong's record as Hedayat's! Also includes contributions from beat icon William Burroughs and Robert Wyatt's 5 year old son, Sam. Truly a classic of the psychedelic genre. Textured jacket shows minor ring wear, the lower right corner is a little bent and the color of the spine is a bit faded. Vinyl is VG++- Near Mint.
