Darrell Banks – Darrell Banks Is Here! Original White Label Promotional mono version
The disc plays with a light crackle and some treble surface noise. There are light scuffs and scratches though they aren’t overwhelming. No feelable deep scratches skipping or warping. The cover and label have writing. The cover has 3-5” seam splits at the top and bottom opening as well as sticker residue and pricing. The inner has bold green ink creasing and fading and some staining at the top. More than a few water marks here and there.
An influential and celebrated musician whose career and life were tragically cut short by an off duty policeman. Amazing album and essential soul. This copy was clearly kicked around West Philly for a while. Promos typically sound better and this is no exception, I did however EQ this in playback so no guarantees as to sound quality.
