Item is in like-new condition. I have not played it, even once. When I bought it, it arrived without shrink-wrap - apart from this one detail, I would be completely confident in describing this item as MINT.

Darkthrone is one of black metal's most influential bands, and 'A Blaze in the Northern Sky' is one of their most influential albums. This is their sophomore effort. 'Soulside Journey' precedes it, but it showcases them making music in a purely death metal style with heavy Swedish overtones; this is the first release showing Darkthrone playing the black metal that was more fully embraced in their next two albums. This one is very definitely black metal, but is unique among their discography in that it expresses a very obviously death metal chromatic, aggressive essence alongside the black metal wanderlust and romanticism. A wonderful album.

As noted on the sticker attached to front of the outer cover, this is the Collector's Edition, released in 2002 by Peaceville - the same label that released the original edition ten years prior. Only 500 copies of this edition exist worldwide.

Tracklist:
1. Kathaarian Life Code
2. In the Shadow of the Horns
3. Paragon Belial
4. Where Cold Winds Blow
5. A Blaze in the Northern Sky
6. The Pagan Winter

Regarding shipping costs: please ignore eBay's automatically-generated listing cost. Shipping fees to the winning bidder/buyer will be calculated after the item has been won. This means that you will ONLY be charged the actual amount it takes to ship the item, and nothing more.Speaking from personal experience, there are few things on eBay I despise more than sellers who overcharge for shipping.

Note that I am vinyl collector. I am well aware of the medium's physical fragility. Any and all vinyl albums I mail to you will be packed VERY safely(tons of bubble wrap), marked "FRAGILE" very prominently on the box, and will have the record, inner sleeve, and outer cover all separated within the package in order to prevent edgewear to any of the mentioned parts.

Thanks for reading; I hope you find what you're looking for!
