Daniel Johnston Hi, How Are You the Unfinished Album Homestead 1st rare label
excellent condition
Ok. This appears to be an earlier 1st pressing on Homestead or possibly promo?

The labels are different than most : these are minimal black on red with NO YELLOW HOMESTEAD LOGO Vs the large yellow homestead logo with black text on red. Homestead records is handwritten instead.
The matrix is marked with ‘scratched-out’ marks FU 4 A2 and FU 4 B3 which would have been from FU records first limited run and possibly handed over from the factory to Homestead after they acquired the recordings. (Some of The early pressings with yellow logo has this as well..)
The homestead matrix is then faintly scratched in
S 20201 H-M-S - 117-1
S 20200 H-M-S - 117 -1
I am not aware of any other homestead pressings so if I’m wrong (or right) please feel free to let me know. I’d be grateful for the info.
I’ve owned this copy for 20 yrs. played few times and archived.
