For auction is a rare copy of the original, legendary "Dance Album of Carl Perkins", featuring the song "Blue Suede Shoes". This LP was released in 1958.
I haven't sold a lot of vinyl on ebay (but I do collect and I've done plenty of business on here with other stuff) so I'll do the best I can to describe this and if you need more info PLEEAASE e-mail before you bid and make sure you want this, because I don't like doing returns unless the item has been grossly mis-represented.
The vinyl is very clean and clear of exessive noise especially considering the age but has skips on a good portion of the songs, including 3 on "Blue Suede Shoes" starting right after the second guitar solo when the vocals come back. None of the skips on the album "stop", they skip forward. The sleeve is in really nice condition, but has been clear cello taped around the edge.
