A NOTE ABOUT MY RECORD AUCTIONS: After many years of collecting - selling - collecting and then selling again recently - my auctions are about to come to an end - I still have a box of LP's I will be listing over the next month or so and then I will be finished - barring the acquisition of something unexpected. Thanks to all who have bid - Nice knowing that my records are residing in nearly every State of the U.S.!
NOTE REGARDING COMBINED SHIPPING: I offer combined shipping for LP's - Generally I can pack up to 5 LP's in a single box unless there are double LP's included - Five LP's in thickness fit an LP box and the approximate cost to ship that size box in the U.S. is about 5.00 but could be a little more based on total weight.
Two or three LP's will cost about 4.50
These costs include postage and the cost of the LP boxes and filler pads - which are always new materials.
Condition: For Cover front and back see images to view any writing - prices stickers - ring wear etc - I will describe LP seams
General Information
1. I use the Goldmine Standard for record grading which is:
"VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.
VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking. Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint.
Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if it toward the high end of the grade (sometimes called VG++ or E+)."
