Description
Artist: Dana Gillespie Title: Foolish Seasons Label/Number: London PS-540 (S) Jacket condition: VG+ Record condition: M- Notes: The cover is gatefold with some light ring wear and some minor seam and corner wear detracting a little. It has a "Promotional Copy Not for Sale" sticker on the lower right corner. The labels are in nice condition with no flaws of note. The vinyl is bright and glossy with just a couple of very light scuffs--nothing to warrant grading it down from M-. As an added bonus, the record is still contained in its original London inner sleeve. Grading: Grading is usually only visual unless there are obvious problems that need to be checked out. I use Goldmine standards with a VG++ added for items NOT QUITE up to M-. I try to be conservative and grade as though I were buying the record. Mono (M) or Stereo (S) is noted after catalog number. Don't hesitate to e-mail questions. Mailing and costs: Domestic shipping is via USPS, media mail. In response to Paypal's unfortunate manner of handling its so-called "Buyer Protection Plan", it has become necessary to require that all packages be insured. I also add $1.50 to cover the cost of a new custom record mailer and pads. Overseas shipping on purchases under $50.00 may be sent by USPS First Class Mail International but I will upgrade at the buyer's request. Orders for more than $50.00 will need to be by Priority Mail International. This provides added protection for both the buyer and for me. The price will be the actual shipping costs plus the $1.50 noted above for the mailer and pads.
I always mail in a poly sleeve with the record outside the jacket. If there's an original inner sleeve I also remove the record from that and put it in a plain sleeve for mailing. That way, there are no seam splits on either the jacket or the sleeve due to any handling in the mail.
