Description

I bought this record last year from a US seller. It was described as brand new and shrink wrapped. It was shrink wrapped but the end of the shrink wrap had been split so clearly the records had been taken out at some point  y the seller. Also , as you will see from photos 5 and 6 which show side A there are some odd dull marks on the record surface. It is only side A that is affected, side b,c and d are unmarked.
However as it played faultlessly and it was too much effort to send it back I settled for what I was sent . I must then have put it away and forgotten I had it having played it once.
I have played it again this morning and it plays perfectly, with no clicks, hisses, jumps or scratches. Because it has retained the shrink wrap the sleeve and inserts etc look brand new.
The seller I bought it from described it as an import but this would be an import into the US. The excellent discogs site shows that  copies like this,   with scratched into the matrix 724384960612/A, (or  B or C or D depending on the side followed by MPO and Gopher TR are the 2014 France reissue. On the back cover is the required (p) & (C) 2001 Daft Life Ltd under exclusive licence to Parlophone France etc. etc. which confirms it as the 2014 French reissue.
There is meant to be a "Made in France" sticker on the bottom left of the back cover but there isn't and nor is there any trace of one ever having been there.
