DYS BROTHERHOOD LP ON XCLAIM! RECORDS cat. no X-4
This is the original press of the first DYS (Dept. of Youth Services) lp in excellent condition, only 1000 pressed in 1983, it comes with the original two sided insert.
DYS recorded a second self titled LP following this one which was a more progressive rock sounding album, very much like their fellow Boston bands of the time like late era SSD and The F.U.'s but nothing they did compares to the ferocity of this record, singer Dave Smalley sounds like he is gonna kill someone. I would never sell this record if I didn't have another one, it is definately one of my desert island discs.
After DYS broke up singer Dave Smalley went on to sing in Dag Nasty, All and Down By Law, and bass player John Anastas also played in Decadence and the first line up of Slapshot.
The sleeve, vinyl & insert are all in EXCELLENT condition as it has barely been played.
There is a small scratch on side 2 which is only really noticable as a clicking noise between the first two tracks, just thought it was worth mentioning.

I expect payment from you within 5 days of auction close (If there is a problem - let me know, i'm a reasonable guy!) If I have not heard from you within 10 days a non Paying Bidder alert will be processed and ultimately I will leave negative feedback and re-list the item.
I send items well packed (all vinyl sent in strong cruciform cardboard mailers). If you have any specific requirements regarding how you want me to pack your record let me know and I will happily oblige. I also combine postage if you've won 2 or more items.
Prices below include insurance up to £28/$60. I would suggest any auction that closes at over £28/$60 should be sent insured (at cost) - I cannot be held responsible for any items lost/damaged in the postal system that are not insured. I will offer any help i can - including the proof of postage that i receive for every single item i post.
