NOTE: Dwight "Sporty Cat" Sykes, born 1956, is a modern soul and funk multi-instrumentalist, song writer and producer, who was popular throughout Southern Michigan between the 1970's and 1990's. Sykes performs both instrumental and vocal songs, all his own works, and plays all of the instruments as well. However he hires other artists to handle the vocals (he does do some backing vocals). On this LP he works with Charlene "CoCo" Dunning and Jahari, which is a vocal group he created consisting of Thomas Hicks, Darryl "Skeet" Mosley, Curtis E. Ray, Neda Robinson & James E. Irving. Sykes' records feature a mixture of genres from Modern Soul Boogie, Electro-Funk, Soul Rock and Quiet Storm. He continues to perform and make music on his home studio to this day, but he now calls Atlanta home.

Vinyl: EX condition; glossy, clean vinyl; just a few superficial surface marks on each side, but nothing feel-able; no scratches; plays very nice!   

Cover: VG+ condition; sturdy, glossy jacket featuring a message from Sykes on the front cover; minor edge-wear & rub; yellowing (see photos).

Comes with a new poly-vinyl dust cover & original inner paper sleeve.
