Gothenburg psych-rock icon Gustav Ejstes of Dungen fame unexpectedly steps into the jungle and hardcore realm here, and the results are wild but skilfully authentic. The story began in Stockholm, where his vinyl-tight DJ set stunned Future Retro London's crew and revealed not only his deep selector chops but a cache of original breakbeat tracks hiding in plain sight. A post-gig hang confirmed that those unidentified heaters were his. Now, for the first time, Ejstes' rave-ready productions surface on wax and channel 90s intensity with a musician's touch. A left-field crossover nobody saw coming but everybody needs.
