Description
Blue Note BLP 4035 "Tender Feelin's" with Duke Pearson, Gene Taylor and Lex Humphries. RVG and Ear in deadwax, 47 West 63rd St labels. The sleeve shows some age (you can see some creasing/wrinkles in the finish on the lower left side of the front jacket, and I took closeups of the worn corners), but there are no seam splits or markings. The LP is in great shape: nice sheen, labels look terrific. There are a few visible scuffs but this sucker plays quite cleanly; there is just a hint of surface crackle in some of the quiet parts, unobtrusive and to be expected on a disc that is over 50 years old! No skips. The sound is warm, present and punchy, and the playing is unreal! Mellow, yet vibrant. I can send audio samples if desired. A few extra notes in response to some questions I've received: the label has deep groove indents on both sides, RVG and ear are stamped into both sides. Labels show "47 W. 63rd" address but back cover lists "43 W 61st." Front cover is laminated with some creasing (as shown) but no tears. Thanks again!
One more note on international shipping: I require that buyers pay for tracking in addition to the cost of international priority shipping, which can be expensive! I can't be responsible for items lost or damaged during overseas shipping, but that risk can be minimized by using tracking.
