Description

A very rare album signed by both Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald when they were on tour. It is very difficult to find an item autographed by both Ella and Duke, although they toured extensively in 1965, 1966 and 1967. Both musicians used the same fountain pen to sign. The cover of the Verve double album is porous and Ella might have had trouble getting her pen going because she went over the letters and her signature is a little blotchy, Duke's autograph is fine. The album comes with a ticket of an Ella-Duke concert at the Salle Pleyel in Paris in 1966. The records inside have scratches but are in good shape. Please click on the scans to get a nice closeup view. Payment by Paypal.
